Paravent in brass | concept phase

 London (UK)

In interiors the act of dividing spaces can sometimes be simply about gracefully unifying them. For this purpose I wanted to design a Paravent that would aim for a simplistic sophistication. Brass is featured as a one and only material. The shape combines a structure of solid brass panels and geometric frames. This act as a contrast of solid structures creating intimate spaces and abstract geometric shapes through which you can see through. The paravent is composed out of 4 panels that can be moved and arranged in various angles. Each panel has a different visual structure that is also connected to the functionality of the object as solid brass panels are placed to create privacy while a see-through structure of shelves creates extra storage space for objects.
